Tour de France - Toujours gêné au genou, Kasper Asgreen abandonne !

Mauvaise nouvelle pour la formation Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl ! En effet, toujours diminué au genou en raison de sa chute survenue sur le Tour de Suisse, Kasper Asgreen ne prendra pas le départ ce dimanche de la neuvième étape du Tour de France. C'est ce qu'indique la WorldTeam belge sur son compte Twitter : "Malgré les soins apportés à son genou après sa blessure sur le Tour de Suisse, sa récupération ne s'est pas passée comme on l'a attendu. Donc il a été décidé par le staff médical de l'équipe qu'il devait s'arrêter là pour ne pas compromettre le reste de sa saison", a-t-on pu lire. Le Wolfpack poursuivra donc sa route avec sept coureurs, sans le vainqueur du Tour des Flandres 2021.
