Tour de France - Richie Porte : «Fantastique de finir ainsi»

Richie Porte a été d'un soutien important, voire indispensable pour Chris Froome dans l'ultime ascension de ce Tour de France 2015, à l'Alpe d'Huez. Interrogé par France TV, l'Australien est revenu sur l'avant-dernière étape de cette Grande Boucle :

"C'était incroyablement dur. Chris n'était pas au mieux, mais c'est bien de voir Thibaut l'emporter. C'est un grand jour pour le cyclisme français aussi. Ces trois dernières semaines ont été très dures. Nous avons dû défendre le maillot pendant 18 jours. Movistar a tout tenté aujourd'hui, mais c'est fantastique de finir ainsi. Chris est vraiment un ami pour moi. Je suis fier d'avoir été le dernier à combattre à ses côtés."
