Paris-Nice - Matteo Trentin ne prendra pas le départ de la 5e étape

La formation UAE Team Emirates a annoncé ce jeudi matin l'abandon de Matteo Trentin. Tombé lors de la 2e étape lundi, le coueur italien de 32 ans s'est plaint de douleurs mercredi après le contre-la-montre, qu'il avait conclu à la 124e place, à 2'30" de Wout Van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma). Le récent vainqueur du Samyn ne prendra donc pas le départ de la 5e étape, donné ce jeudi à Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert. "Matteo (Trentin) a été réévalué et a montré des symptômes de syndrome post-commotionnel. Il a donc été retiré de la course", a indiqué son équipe sur son compte Twitter.
