Après le Tour de Pologne, grâce aux nombreux points de Rafal Majka, la formation Tinkoff Saxo monte sur la troisième marche du podium et éjecte Omega Pharma-Quick Step du top 3. Movistar Team et Ag2r La Mondiale sont respectivement leader et deuxième.
