Tour de Thuringe - Georgia Baker remporte la 2e étape, Confalonieri 2e

Après la victoire d'Alexandra Manly sur la journée inaugurale, la veille, une autre membre de l'équipe Team BikeExchange-Jayco a remporté la deuxième étape du LOTTO Tour de Thuringe autour de Gera (99,6 km), ce mardi. Il s'agit de Georgia Baker. L'Australienne de 27 ans, qui décroche le premier succès de sa carrière professionnelle, a devancé au sprint Maria Giulia Confalonieri (Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling). La Néerlandaise Femke Markus (Parkhotel Valkenburg) complète le podium de l'étape en prenant la 3e place. Au classement général, Alexandra Manly conserve sa tunique de leader.
