Tour des Alpes - Le Tour of the Alps 2026... Parcours, favoris et startlist

Quelques semaines avant le grand départ du Giro d'Italia, le Tour des Alpes fait office de dernier test pour certains favori de la "Corsa Rosa". Cette année, cinq étapes difficiles sont prévus du 20 au 24 avril dans les Alpes entre l'Autriche et l'Italie. Si la première journée pourrait être destiné aux quelques sprinteurs présents au départ de cette 49e édition, le grimpeurs seront ensuite à la fête avec quatre étapes très difficiles.
Pidcock, Pellizzari, Bernal... du beau monde au départ
Parmi les favoris du prochain Giro d'Italia présents sur ce Tour des Alpes, on retrouvera notamment Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), le tenant du titre Michael Storer (Tudor), mais aussi Thymen Arensman, Egan Bernal (INEOS Grenadiers), Derek Gee-West (Lidl-Trek), Mathys Rondel (Tudor), Aleksandr Vlasov (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), Ben O'Connor (Jayco AlUla) ou encore Max Poole (Picnic PostNL). Mais le grand favori de cette 49e édition ne se trouve peut-être pas dans ces noms-là, puisque Tom Pidcock (Pinarello-Q36.5) a annoncé sa présence à la dernière minute. En recherche de sensations après sa chute sur le Tour de Catalogne et avant Liège-Bastogne-Liège, la forme du Britannique reste tout de même un point d'interrogation.
Du côté des hommes rapides, peu d'entre eux ont fait le déplacement, Davide Donati (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) faisant office de grand favori pour la 1ère étape. A noter également la présence sur cette course de certains jeunes talents, à l'image de Lorenzo Finn (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) ou Jakob Omrzel (Bahrain Victorious)... mais aussi d'un vieux de la veille qui fait son retour dans le peloton, à 43 ans, Domenico Pozzovivo (Solution Tech NIPPO Rali).
